An addition is judged from the street and from the room it opens into, whether the house is in Highland Park or farther out in the metro. The scope has to cover both.
What the scope usually covers

We do not promise a permit. We build from an agreed scope and tell you what the city process requires before you are committed.
Many of these houses need an architect or engineer. If yours does, that is part of the first conversation, not a later apology.
